I find it funny that your can not use seamonkey to sign up or login to these forums. Why would that be? Well, pretty obviously, I'm using SM 2.9.5 to sign up/login/browse these forums. Wouldn't be much point having a SeaMonkey forum that couldn't use the SeaMonkey browser, would there? Please give more details of the problem you had.

This is the message I get when going to gmail now "You have been redirected to the basic HTML version because this browser is not supported. To use standard view please upgrade to a supported browser".

This is the message I get when going to gmail now.... Well, Gmail has nothing to do with these forums, but that is the message you get on gmail if you have JavaScript disabled. I did check the sign up or login here and they were fine with JS disabled and I then even switched UA to mimic an old SM 2.46 and it was fine with all that. I always have uBlock Origin running, so I already knew that was OK. But, yeah, sort your JS out for Gmail if you want their 'full' (and slow loading) version.

I realize Gmail is not part of Seamonkey. Even with JS disabled / deleted I still get the unsupported browser. With firefox every thing is good. I was just wondering why all of a sudden I started getting the message. I guess there is no answers regarding this issue. Thanks for you input.

Thanks for the suggestion I did create a new profile and gmail worked. The only problem is I could not import my mail, contracts into it as I tried and tried. Even created another profile same problem. Uninstalled Seamonkey and reinstalled then I could paste my mail and ect files. But then I still had the same problem as before. So I give up. Thanks for the help. Happy New year

I finally resolved the problem. What I did is go into my existing profile and clean out files that were not important such as bookmarks, passwords, email etc. Opened a files in notepad that did not apply to my data .and deleted the contents. Checked after that and all my security issue's went away. Something must have been corrupted when I updated to 2.49.5 64 bit now works like it should.
